Argine degli Angeli from Sant’Alberto (RA) by e-bike
Description of the Experience
From Sant’Alberto to one of the most spectacular cycling routes in Europe
Start from Sant’Alberto (RA), the last village in Romagna before the Reno River, and enjoy an e-bike excursion discovering one of the most enchanting natural landscapes in the Po Delta Park.
The adventure begins with a crossing of the Reno River on the characteristic cable ferry: within minutes, you go from road to water, leaving the village behind and entering a unique environment of lagoons, canals, herons and flamingos.
The route continues eastwards along the embankments, crossing unspoilt landscapes and passing alongside Boscoforte, an extraordinary strip of land that has remained almost untouched in the heart of the Comacchio Lagoons.
The destination is the famous Argine degli Angeli, one of the most spectacular cycling routes in Italy: kilometres suspended between sky and water, where it feels as though you are cycling across the lagoon, with flamingos just a few metres away and uninterrupted views stretching all the way to the sea.
An experience combining nature, photography and tranquillity, perfect for those who want to discover the Po Delta at a leisurely pace, following the rhythms of nature.
