Motorboat trips
Boat trips to the nature reserves
Po Delta Tourism designs educational programs and field trips in the Po Delta for schools of all levels, transforming learning into an engaging experience that brings together nature, culture, and the local area. These programs, lasting one or more days, take students on a journey to discover the Po Delta Park, its nature reserves, and the major art cities of Emilia-Romagna, through educational activities designed to spark curiosity and foster knowledge.
Led by expert nature guides, students will be able to explore the unspoiled beauty of the Delta, sailing aboard motorboats that will take them into the heart of the nature reserves, where they can observe the area’s flora, fauna, and birdlife up close. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the importance of biodiversity, which makes the Po Delta so special. For younger children, we offer engaging and educational hands-on activities.
To make the experience even more dynamic, we offer walking or biking excursions along the Delta’s levees and trails—perfect for exploring the unique ecosystems of this extraordinary natural area.
Another highlight of our itineraries is visiting cities of art and historic sites. Students will stroll through the streets of Comacchio, participate in educational activities at local museums, visit the fascinating Abbey of Pomposa, and explore the Estense Castle of Mesola. There will also be unmissable stops such as Ferrara, a Renaissance city, and Ravenna, famous for its Byzantine mosaics, a World Heritage Site.
Accommodations are provided in selected hotels and other lodging options located along the Comacchio Riviera and in the heart of the Delta Park to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay.
