ALONG THE BANK OF THE RIVER PO
Scenic route along the right bank of the Po River, from the castle of Mesola until the mouth of the River
Suggestive cycling route along the right bank of the Po from Stellata to Bondeno, passing through the historic center of Ferrara, arrives at sea until the port of Gorino Ferrarese. The
" Destra Po " along its 125 km of flat road, mostly for the exclusive use of cyclists and with short sections on mixed traffic, you will appreciate the landscape of the Po valley until the river delta, one of the natural portions most significant of the Po Delta Park. We recommend the last 25 km: the Estense Castle of Mesola, the route climbs along the riverbank and heads towards the sea. Before arriving at Goro, you will notice in the middle of the river from the small island Rossi elongated and covered by dense vegetation white willow.

IN THE VALLI DI COMACCHIO
Bike paths and discover a unique environment, surrounded by the magic of the lagoon of Comacchio
From the historic centre of Comacchio, along the embankment along Fattibello Valley, you arrive at the Stazione da Pesca Foce, first outpost of Valli di Comacchio, along a route of about 4 km. From there, branch out some historical places of unquestionable natural beauty and turn right, walk along the embankment Fossa Foce leading into 6 kilometers to the Valle Zavelea, up to the observation tower; turning left, a 3 km long route takes you up to Salina Comacchio, through a unique environment, between which water is brackish refuge one of the most populous Italian colonies of flamingos. |

CYCLING TO SALINA DI COMACCHIO
From the sea to the lagoons and Salina di Comacchio
From the sea you can reach the lagoons and the Salina di Comacchio along a route of about 7 kilometres in some places in mixed traffic. From the seaside resort of Lido Estensi, on the road that runs alongside the marina, one reaches the harbor where the overpass at Strada Statale Romea, begins the cycle route to the Valli di Comacchio and Salina. Note, on the way, what remains of the Red Tower, sixteenth-century municipal architecture in defense of the sea along the ancient coastline, and the colonies of flamingos. Continuing along the bank, you will arrive at the Stazione da Pesca Foce.

IN THE OASIS AT THE MOUTH OF THE RIVER PO
Journey inside the natural reserve Foce del Po di Volano, oasis of untouched nature
Departing from Cannevič oasis, where you can hire bikes, walk along the bank driveway towards Lido di Volano, to reach, after about 3 km, the site called "Madonna". Start here the bike paths that take you inside the natural reserve Foce del Po di Volano, peculiar oasis composed of heterogeneous environments ranging from pine forest to the brackish lagoon, the beaches by sandbars. Through dirt roads you can cross the pine forest, at the observation tower overlooking the reed beds, or by following the various deviations that lead to the coast and into the pine forest behind the town.
